Within my household, there’s no greater point of debate than the appropriate screen brightness level of digital devices. My obsession with reducing the intensity to a notch above darkness seems to cause my partner physical pain, as the action is often met with intense squinting and a groan. In my defence, my vigilance is likely the product of repeated warnings of prolonged screen exposure. Since the advent of smartphones, we’ve been cautioned about the negative effects of artificial blue light emitted from screens. Heeding these warnings, I decided to err on the side of caution when I purchased my new prescription…

One of the largest corporations and retailers in America is not only selling a dupe of my patented Pirouette Skort design, but they also threatened to SUE ME for speaking up about it. Yeah. When I sent a cease and desist to stop selling the dupe, that’s the response I received from their legal team. On my birthday, btw. Here’s the dupe, the “Tutu Skort” by a brand called Gottex. I mean, they even had ZERO SHAME making the exact same color as my lilac Pirouette that went viral after Taylor Swift wore it. The other two color options are…

220 I’ll be honest, at first, I wasn’t too keen on the idea of an online yoga platform. It seemed less authentic and eliminated the human interaction that comes with joining together for a live class. I understood that all things quick, easy, and online accessible are the way of the world nowadays, but I wasn’t quite ready to accept it. After a while though, I realized the whole reason I started on this journey was to help others. Just because that looks a little different now than it used to, doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. It’s actually a…

Hey guys! How do you see your calendar? Here’s how I see mine
Calendar Synesthesia Basically, this means that I visualize time as a sequence in space. I don’t see the calendar how it looks on a planner or in my phone. Instead, it’s a track like the pic above. The months move counter-clockwise, with the summer months seeming much faster in my mind and the winter months longer. Weird right? I’ve always seen the calendar this way! NEVER the boxes like what my Google calendar looks like.   Do you see your calendar this way? I’ve only ever met…

The research observed that young individuals who have better quality sleep patterns are less likely to die prematurely. The results also indicate that approximately 8% of any cause deaths can be attributed to bad sleep habits. The researchers observed a clear dose-response connection, so an individual has a stepwise reduction of cardiovascular and all-cause death the more beneficial factors they have with regards to having higher sleep quality. For their analysis, the researchers…
