Dr Su Lee, mental health expert
To mark Mental Health Awareness Week (11-17 May), TheBusinessDesk.com is hosting a ‘Mental Health in the Workplace’ networking lunch on Wednesday, 13 May.
Join us for this important conversation around understanding mental illness in the workplace and how employers and colleagues can provide better support for staff. With the world of work rapidly evolving, and employee wellness increasingly coming into focus, this promises to be an essential and eye-opening discussion.
In a fireside chat with our West Midlands Editor Afroze Zaidi, mental health expert Dr Su Lee will share her knowledge and expertise around subjects that can be seen as taboo or are often misunderstood. The conversation will focus on creating workplace cultures where mental health conversations are normalised, with practical strategies that business leaders can implement immediately.
Dr Lee is a Life Coach specialising in men’s mental health and workplace wellbeing and currently serves as Director at Men’s Prosperity Club CIC. She also works with The Lighthouse Charity, where she provides mental health support to construction workers and their families – an industry with some of the highest suicide rates among men.
Working with high-performing entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals, Dr Lee helps them build sustainable success without sacrificing their wellbeing. Her work is grounded in the belief that high performance and mental health aren’t competing priorities – they’re inseparable.
