Here’s a delicious, kid-friendly Nourishing Banana Baked Oatmeal recipe! It’s naturally sweetened, packed with fiber, and perfect for busy mornings.


🍌 Nourishing Banana Baked Oatmeal (Kid-Friendly!)

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 ½ cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan option)
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
3️⃣ Add milk, egg, maple syrup, vanilla, melted butter and mix well.
4️⃣ Stir in oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until fully combined.
5️⃣ Fold in chocolate chips or nuts, if using.
6️⃣ Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
7️⃣ Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and set.
8️⃣ Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or refrigerate for later!

It’s sweet and indulgent yet healthy, and the chocolate mixed in with all this goodness makes it the perfect breakfast to end 2020.
