There are few things I’ll happy endure 45 minutes of road construction traffic for. Fall at Trader Joe’s is one of those things! The big drop happened earlier this month, and I finally made the trip to get all of my faves and to check out the new goodies.
Can I be totally honest? I didn’t research what was returning or new items before I went this year. I felt confident that I would see a few old friends back on the shelves, manifested the return of a few I wasn’t sure about, and decided to let the rest be an adventure!
Let’s dive in.

I grabbed my red cart (plus a mini one for my four year-old) and we made a beeline to the salad, where I was greeted with disappointment because my store did not have the Brussels Sprouts Sauté Kit. It’s on the website though, so I think it’s coming! Check your store and lmk.
Next, we filled our carts with year-round staples like mini avocados, pizza dough, and brown sugar oat creamer, plus the returning fall items we’ve been waiting all year for. We snagged Butternut Squash Mac n’ Cheese, Spicy Mini Pumpkin Samosas, Creamy Pumpkin Bisque, Pumpkin Butter, Pumpkin Cream Cheese, and Apple Chicken Sausage.
And that’s where I stopped myself. I had to save room for…
New fall goodies!

Salted Maple Cold Foam
I know it’s pretty easy to make cold foam at home, but in the name of the holiday that is Fall at Trader Joe’s, I had to try this one. I liked the flavor and it was perfectly creamy. The TJ’s employee let me know that the vanilla flavor is great too!
Maple Leaf Ice Cream Sandwiches
These are exactly what I expected – yummy, sweet, and full of fall flavor. You only get 4 in a box, but they’re a good size.
Cherry Pistachio Pecan Granola
Trader Joe’s never misses when it comes to granola. This new fall flavor is made with oats, maple syrup, brown sugar, olive oil, dried cherries, pumpkin seeds, coconut, pistachios, pecans, and sea salt. YUM.
Crispy Garlic
Crispy. Garlic. This is going to seriously level up some Thanksgiving dishes this year. Imagine these crunchies atop green bean casserole!
Personally, I cannot wait to try this on a salad and over some roasted veggies.
New egg bites!
Who doesn’t love an easy, healthy breakfast?! This new flavor contains egg whites, cottage cheese, sweet potato, onion, celery, and butternut squash alongside savory herbs and seasonings. Each package has 12 grams of protein!
Vanilla Bean Sweet Potatoes
I usually prefer to sweeten my sweet potatoes myself but this makes a great ZERO effort side dish that honestly isn’t overly sweet like some sweet potato casseroles I’ve tried.
Loaded Mashed Potatoes
If you like your potatoes savory (and loaded), go for these. Again, these are about convenience so don’t come at me with “make your own,”okay? Nothing beats scratch-made mashed potatoes but these are great if you’re short on time, less than confident in your cooking skills, or just don’t have it in you to peel potatoes (totally get it).
Maple Brown Butter Almonds
These remind me of the hot candied nuts you smell at a fall festival… or Buc-ee’s (iykyk). They’re sweet, buttery, and perfectly crunchy. I’ll be snacking on these all fall.
Furikake Snack Mix
This isn’t a “fall item” but it still deserved a mention. This snack mix is bursting with savory and slightly sweet flavor. My only regret is not buying two bags.
Sliced Apple Cinnamon Sourdough Bread
This is so yummy toasted with butter, but you should definitely use it to make a French toast casserole. Trust me.
Unexpected Cheddar Buffalo Blue Cheese Spread
Okay so I didn’t actually buy this because I don’t like Blue cheese! But I’m jealous of all of you who do because I bet you’ll love it! Trader Joe’s recommends eating it on a bagel, sandwich, or crackers. Let me know what you think!
Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake
If you’re going to treat yourself to one thing, make it this. Trader Joe’s mini are superior.
What should I try next?
